Randall Popham - Senior Pastor

Randall Popham is a Georgia native who was saved, called to ministry, married, and ordained at the First Baptist Church of Woodstock, GA. He graduated High School in 1991 from Etowah High School in Cherokee County, GA. In 1994 Randall married Dana, and the two moved to Greenville, SC, to attend college at North Greenville University. At North Greenville, Randall received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Studies with a minor in Fine Arts. In 2003 Randall graduated from Southern Seminary in Louisville,KY, with a Masters of Divinity in Evangelism and Church Planting. Randall has served in four churches. He served in two churches in Greenville, SC, as a Youth Minister while attending North Greenville. After graduating in 1998, Randall began his work at his third church. At First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, NC, Randall served as the High School Youth Pastor and Student Ministry Director. In 2003 Randall became the Associate Pastor and directed the Evangelism and Mission Ministries of the church. In 2005 Randall became the Lead Pastor of Lanier Hills Church in Gainesville, GA. Randall and Dana have four amazing children.

Dan Tucker - Youth Pastor

Dan joined Lanier Hills in August of 2019. He has been married to his wife Courtney for 10 years and they have a beautiful daughter, Emmy. Dan is a graduate of Covington Theological Seminary and holds a Bachelor’s in Ministry. Originally from Chattanooga, TN, he and Courtney have served in student ministry in Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Charleston, SC! Dan loves spending time with his family, hanging with students, football, and basketball…and bleeds orange for the Tennessee Volunteers.

Julie Bowmar - Children’s Minister

Julie was born and raised in Gainesville, GA where she graduated from North Hall High School and went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree from Brenau University. She continued her studies and received her education degree from Piedmont College before beginning her career as an educator. For over 20 years she has enjoyed teaching children from ages 4 to 18 and has a few of her own too! Julie and Chad and their 3 kids have been attending Lanier Hills Church since March of 2009. Julie joined the staff two years later in April of 2011. Julie is passionate about pointing the next generation to Jesus and helping people of all ages grow in their walk with Jesus as they discover their gifts and talents and find their place and purpose in the body of Christ.

Judy Hulsey - Nursery + Preschool Director

Judy was born in Hall County. She is married to Jack Hulsey. They are charter members of Lanier Hills. Judy has a 4-year degree in Leadership and Administration from Grace Bible Institute. Children are the love of her life. She also enjoys running and spending time with her two grandchildren.

Scott Soper - Director of Administration

Scott moved to Gainesville in 2007 and has been attending Lanier Hills since 2010. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech and works for a healthcare company as an Account Manager by day. Widowed in 2014, the Lord has grown him in ways he could not imagine through the experience. Scott has served at Lanier Hills in various capacities as an Elder, Youth Volunteer, and Interim Youth Director. He has two amazing teenage sons which have grown up at Lanier Hills. Scott loves to serve others and enjoys various outdoor activities including biking, camping, and hiking.

Sandy Pinkham - Office Administrator

Sandy Pinkham grew up in N.C. and married Wayne in 1974. Sandy was saved in 1995, moved to Gainesville in 2003. She has been the church secretary since August 2006. Before moving to Gainesville, she served as Administrative Secretary for the Director of Admissions at Georgia Southern Univ. in Statesboro, GA for 15 years. She was a Hospice Patient Volunteer from 2003- 2020.

Courtney Tucker - Connections Coordinator

Courtney was born and raised in Alabama where she also went to college and met Dan, her husband. They have been married since 2009 and have always been involved in youth and other church ministries. She and Dan have a spirited daughter ‘Emmy’ and a busy toddler ‘Aaron’. Courtney enjoys good food, good coffee, crafting, reading, and movies.
